Meet Ms. Jacobson

Ms. Heather Jacobson became the assistant principal of Paul W. Kutz Elementary School in August 2025. Prior to her appointment at Kutz, she served as the assistant principal at Doyle and Jamison Elementary Schools for one year. Before moving into administration, Ms. Jacobson taught English Language Development (ELD) and first grade at Mill Creek, Barclay, and Jamison Elementary Schools. She also has experience teaching first grade, second grand and preschool outside the district.

Ms. Jacobson earned her undergraduate degree from Penn State University, where she received certification in Elementary Education (K-6) and English Language Development (ELD). She went on to earn two master's degrees: one in Elementary Education from Kutztown University and another in Educational Leadership from Holy Family University.

Ms. Jacobson lives in Lansdale with her fiancé, Tim, her daughter, Sarah, and her two sons, Jack and Henry.  She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially running and kayaking.
